Home Alone eliminates the need for a full-time, onsite caretaker, and allows you to enjoy your house with maximum privacy. We can work with your existing staff and contractors, or set up a new program with local, licensed, and insured service professionals. To ensure the best service and most affordable rates for our clients, Home Alone is based locally in La Jolla and keeps its range of operation to a minimum.
Management of your primary residence has never been easier. Once we mutually agree upon your needs, a house manager is assigned to your home.  Following a predetermined schedule that works best for you, the manager will make regular visits and assume management of your property.
Scheduled maintenance management, including pool, housekeeping, landscape, and general maintenance contractors. Work is always thoroughly inspected to maintain the property to your high standards.
Contractor liaison, including unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and remodeling.
Administrative management, including review and payment of all estimates and bills related to both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs, utilities and domestic help.
We take care of every management need of your vacation home to keep it operational and beautiful until you come back to enjoy it.  And during your visit, our great service doesn’t stop. We continue to handle the weekly scheduled maintenance and are available to our clients as often as necessary. The same holds true for a home on the market—maintenance will continue until it sells, ensuring your property looks great and you get maximum return on your investment.
Short-term management applies to customers that are away from their house for less than a month or as little as just one day.  For example, if you are going on vacation for a couple of weeks or just a weekend, we will assign a house manager to your home for the duration of your time away. We tend to the daily house chores and follow a day-to-day, mutually agreed upon checklist. While out of town, customers can contact us at any time and for any reason. Home Alone staff is not formally trained in animal care, but will look after pets as a favor to our clients.
